Accessibility Equipment
“Big Keys LX” Keyboard. These computer keyboards have large keys (1 inch square) with large type letters and symbols on them for easy identification. They do not have all of the same keys as a “standard” keyboard, but they do have everything necessary for regular computer use (60 keys and 90+ characters). They eliminate “run-on” letters; no matter how long you press down on a key, the letter will appear only once. This is helpful for people who may have difficulty using a standard keyboard due to a physical challenge. One keyboard has black keys with white letters. The other has white and multicolored keys with black letters. Each connects to a computer with standard, six pin PS/2 connection compatible with most PCs. There is an adapter for use with a Macintosh computer.
